Hierzu werden die bisherigen empirischen Befunde präsentiert und Vor- und Nachteile der kooperativen Lernformen abgewogen. Es wird besonders auf die Strategie des Peer Tutoring Bezug genommen. Zunächst wird das Prinzip des kooperativen Lernens in seinen Grundzügen erläutert. Darauf aufbauend wird dargestellt, inwiefern kooperative Lehr- und Lernstrategien im inklusiven Unterricht angewendet werden können. Hierbei werden größtenteils empirische Befunde angeführt, die kooperative Lernstrategien für den inklusiven Unterricht als geeignete Methoden anführen. Es wird dennoch auf die möglichen Grenzen und Probleme kooperativer Methoden für inklusive Lerngruppen hingewiesen. Anschließend wird die Methode des Peer Tutoring skizziert und es wird kritisch hinterfragt, ob sich diese Methode für inklusive Lerngruppen eignet. Letztlich werden, aufbauend auf den Ergebnissen, praktische Ideen für die Unterrichtsgestaltung im inklusiven Unterricht vorgestellt.
