Banyak keuntungan bisa didapat oleh Wajib Pajak (WP) yang mengikuti Tax Amnesty, antara lain berupa penghapusan pajak terutang, tidak dikenai sanksi administrasi atau pidana, maupun penghapusan PPh Final atas pengalihan harta berupa tanah dan/atau bangunan serta saham. Prosedurnya pun tidak rumit. WP yang berhak mengikuti Tax Amnesty adalah WP yang memiliki kewajiban menyampaikan SPT Tahunan Pajak Penghasilan, di antaranya WP Orang Pribadi, WP Badan, WP UMKM, dan orang pribadi atau badan yang belum menjadi Wajib Pajak. Penulis melakukan penelitian atas kekerasan terhadap warga JAI di Lombok karena beberapa alasan. Pertama, di daerah Lombok, kekerasan terhadap JAI berlangsung lama, yakni dari 1998 hingga 2010. Kedua, sampai sekarang, warga JAI yang selamat dari penyerangan itu telah mengungsi selama 10 tahun di Asrama Transito, Kota Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Ketiga, meski menjadi pengungsi dan sasaran kekerasan selama setidaknya satu dekade, warga JAI terkesan tegar dan memilih bertahan dalam koridor keimanannya.
