Les travaux de recherche - objet de ce mémoire - portent sur les incidences des procédures d'essais de résistance au cisaillement direct et des effets d'échelle qui en résultent. Deux boîtes de cisaillement non conventionnelles de par leur taille : 500 x 500 mm et 250 x 250 mm ont été utilisées pour déterminer les caractéristiques mécaniques c et d'un sol grossier. Il s'agit d'une grave alluvionnaire de Seine dont le diamètre maximal sur site peut atteindre 200 mm. Pour les essais entrepris, cette grave a été écrêtée pour différents diamètres maximaux, elle a subit des substitutions pondérales ou un compactage pour une mise en remblai. Un état des connaissances a été d'abord consacré à la caractérisation physico-mécanique des sols grossiers à partir d'essais de laboratoire (cisaillement à la boîte, triaxial), puis complété par les résultats issus d'essais in situ (pressiomètre, phicomètre) et sur ouvrages. Apres avoir proposé une méthode de mise en place du matériau grossier dans la boîte de cisaillement, une importante phase expérimentale a été réalisée. Des essais d'étalonnage à la boîte vide et de répétabilité ont d'abord a été réalisés. S'ensuivent des essais relatifs à l'étude des différentes influences : dimensions géométriques de la boîte, dimensions et forme des grains, espacement des demi-boîtes. Des essais spécifiques ont été menés pour étudier la formation et le développement de la bande de cisaillement. Les interprétations et l'analyse de l'ensemble des résultats ont permis de préciser les différentes influences des paramètres d'étude sur la détermination des caractéristiques mécaniques de ce sol grossier et de quantifier les effets d'échelle.

Ujian Nasional (UN) untuk tingkat SD digantikan dengan Ujian Sekolah / Madrasah (US/M) sejak dua tahun ke belakang. Perbedaan antara UN dengan US/M salah satunya adalah dari segi pembuatan soal. Salah satu strategi dalam menghadapi US/M adalah dengan berlatih mengerjakan soal-soal ujian dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya dan mencermati kisi-kisi US/M yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah. Buku dari penerbit CMedia ini berisi kumpulan soal dan pembahasan UN dan US/M SD dari tahun 2008 sampai 2015. Setiap soal dibahas dengan detail, lengkap, dan mudah dipahami. Selain itu, buku ini dilengkapi dengan kisi-kisi US/M beserta statistik soal yang muncul setiap tahunnya dan prediksi soal US/M tahun 2016 yang dilengkapi pembahasannya. Tourism is, today, an enormous business industry, which employs millions of people throughout the world engaging the economic, social and cultural attention of users and providers in its services and its products. Globalisation has made English the lingua franca of Tourism. For this reason, the specific needs of the community, the profession and the students of tourism were analysed, with the aim of developing the knowledge and competencies needed to contribute to the improvement of the tourism sector in Portugal. This study analyzes the professional domains, the specific genres, the situational contexts and the communication tools used in tourism, in Portugal. It presents the results of the needs analysis carried out on the target community of the Tourism Course of the Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Viseu. Based on the results of this study, it was designed a course for teaching English for Specific Purposes for tourism.
