The National Museum, Kuala Lumpur, now possesses a total of sixteen Mah-Meri
sculptures. Five of these were purchased during the Exposisi Seni Rupa in
August, 1962 (plates I, IV, VI, VIII and XII), three on my visit to the Mah-Meri
settlement in Carey Island in October 1964 (plates V, VII and XIII), and seven in
February 1965 (plates II, III, IX, X, XI, XIV and XV) and one (plate XVI) in March
