The Key to Business Improvement

This work considers the strategic aspects of the key management issues of the future - Total Quality Management (TQM). TQM is a philosophy of management that strives to make the best use of all available resources and opportunities by constant improvement.

A traditional view of quality dictates that if you want better quality, then you will
have to pay for it. This view holds true if quality improvement is achieved merely
by increasing inspection and test activity to detect failures and then screen them
out before they reach the customer. In the past a lot of effort has gone into
