Salah satu cara yang bisa dilakukan oleh setiap muslim adalah secara langsung mencari jawabannya dari Quran dan hadits dengan senantiasa memohon taufik dan hidayah dari Allah SWT. Buku tipis ini berisikan sekumpulan “jawaban” atas “pertanyaan” yang berkecamuk di dalam diri penulis, yang insyaallah selalu didasarkan pada pemahaman pribadi penulis atas ayat-ayat Quran dan buku hadits, dan dituliskan dalam bentuk syair. Hanya kepada Allah SWT, penulis memohon ampun atas kesalahan yang tidak penulis sadari dan sengaja. Kepada sidang pembaca, yang telah menyisihkan waktu dan biaya untuk bisa mendapatkan buku ini, dan bersedia membacanya, penulis mengucapkan terima kasih. Penulis mempersilahkan kepada pembaca untuk mengkritisi tulisan yang ada di buku ini, tidak ada paksaan untuk menerima agar “se-ide” dengan penulis. An Analysis and Comparison of Two Essential Oils Extraction Methodologies for Lemongrass (Cymbopogon Citratus (DC.) Stapf)

Lemongrass from te species of citratus have been used in this research in order to anaylze and compare two extraction methodolgy for extracting essential oils from lemongrass. The two methods involved were steam distillation and maceration extraction. Control methods involved were steam distillation and maceration extraction. Control method for this research was steam distillation. There are three types of essential oils were produced by these two methods, which produced from air dried lemongrass leaves, direct heating lemongrass by using drying oven with temperature of 60c and essential oils from fresh lemongrass leaves.

Female Voices of Comic Resistance in Arab-American Stand-up Comedy

This thesis will explore the implications of performances by female Arab-American stand-up comics in the United States since the beginning of the 21st century. By examining the subversive ways in which these comics tackle issues of identity through their art, this exploration draws conclusions on how this performance platform creates unique challenges and opportunities for female comics that are not experienced by their male counterparts. It will identify the cultural and sociological sources of challenge for female agency, whether internal or external and theorize ways in which they are overcome. This thesis utilizes qualitative analysis of live and recorded performances through the theoretical lens of social interaction. The analysis is supplemented by in person and documentary film interviews with Arab-American female comics as well as research on reviews, articles and archives of performances. While previous scholarship on the subject of Arab-American stand-up comedy has mostly taken into account the male voices, this thesis focuses exclusively on female comics and the significance of their performance of comic resistance to their agency.
