in Khüzistān Sclavonia, between the Oxus and the Dnieper, (Jarrett III, 104.) In
the Aïn (Text) Saqlāb is described as a city of Rüm which must be a mistake for
Riis. It seems that Saqlāb and Chalybes are the same word. 3 Jarrett III, 327.
