Maktahb Aristuqrat Yahudi (The Letter of Aristeas), referred to by Euro-gentile scholars by the lowly term "pseudepigraphal", is a work produced in Alexandria, in the mid-2nd century BCE to promote the cause of "Towrah Keeping" in the face of Hellenism.
