The key to a jazzy life

... in Zurich, one month in Koln, Germany and one month in Belgium in a summer
resort named Blankenbergue. Bill had different musicians this time. The pianist
was french and white, Jack Starling. He could play nice and spoke English. We
had a Martinique guy on bass named Lude, a West Indian guy on drums, Donald
Brown and another West Indian on trombone, Herman Wilson. I had made some
arrangements for Bill and we had rehearsed in Paris before our departure for
Zurich.
