A Southeast Asian Perspective

Implementing guidelines for the establishment of this activity have been proposed. These are: Formalization of agreement among member nations in the realization of the project; setting up of an organizational structure which will govern the activities of the project; setting up of an organizational structure which will govern the activities of the project ; identification of the type of collection to be shared with member countries ; development of library collection at the national level and provision of union catalogues and databases for the collection ; and establishemnet of facilities to access information with the use of modern technology. Proposed organization of library materials in cooperative acquisition and views on Southeast Asian Cooperative Acquisition have been included.
