Selected Advances on Spectrum Sensing, Learning, and Security Approaches

This book, written by experts from universities and major industrial research laboratories, is devoted to the very hot topic of cognitive radio and networking for cooperative coexistence of heterogeneous wireless networks. Selected highly relevant advanced research is presented on spectrum sensing and progress toward the realization of accurate radio environment mapping, biomimetic learning for self-organizing networks, security threats (with a special focus on primary user emulation attack), and cognition as a tool for green next-generation networks. The research activities covered include work undertaken within the framework of the European COST Action IC0902, which is geared towards the definition of a European platform for cognitive radio and networks. Realitanya masih ada yang memandang sebelah mata terhadap profesi tenaga administrasi sekolah (TAS) karena tugasnya dianggap remeh dan gampang sehingga semua orang bisa melakukannya. Misalnya lulusan otomotif bisa menjadi TAS sebab urusan administrasi surat-menyurat dianggap mudah, tinggal copy-paste tanpa adanya aturan baku. Padahal tidak semua orang bisa telaten mengerjakan tugas detail-rumit administrasi dan etika service work sekolah dengan benar sesuai standar. Staf TAS sendiri kadangkala bekerja sesuai pengetahuannya tanpa mengikuti pedoman standar. Misalnya mengetik surat tanpa mengikuti kaidah yang ada atau peraturan yang berlaku. Akibatnya sering kita jumpai format surat dinas yang bisa berbeda-beda antar sekolah walaupun masih dalam satu kabupaten/kota. Alasannya ada yang berpedoman pada aturan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Peraturan Bupati/Walikota, pada Peraturan Gubernur, dsb. Tidak adanya kesepakatan baku inilah yang bisa menjadi “bumerang” bagi wibawa profesi TAS.

Now banks are using a number of data mining techniques to predict the success rate. The Decision Tree is a successful data mining technique for predicting bank telemarketing success. The Decision Tree is a well known classifier and is simple and easy to apply. The performance of decision trees can be improved with appropriate attribute selection. In this research, ID3 decision tree technique of data mining is applied on widely used benchmark data set. The main focus of this research was on designing and implementation of a model that predicts the success of bank telemarketing using decision tree technique of data mining.
