Schoolgirls Punished in Prison

Innocent Captives... Years have past, and many women, young and not so young, have come within the purview of Mr. Punire's judgment and, likely, his lash. He has been many places, seen many things, met many people, rich and poor, and developed his art. Some say he is the greatest artist of his kind, yet he is an imperfect man, a rationalizing animal like the rest of us. Be that as it may, he fights valiantly against those who pretend to do what he does yet abuse their power, and he fights valiantly against demons thrust upon him during his youth, a private hell of which we know little. His profession is to punish-he is convinced of its efficacy-yet as he administers harsh justice he tries to do much good and no permanent harm. Does he accomplish these lofty goals while employing the base methods of the profession he is compelled to practice? That, one must decide for one's self. And why is it said he is compelled to practice his profession? To learn you must read on. NO ESCAPE FROM THE DEGRADATION!

Innocent Captives... Years have past, and many women, young and not so young, have come within the purview of Mr. Punire's judgment and, likely, his lash.

Managing Hot Flushes with Group Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

An Evidence-based Treatment Manual for Health Professionals

Following the success of Managing Hot Flushes and Night Sweats which outlines a self-help, CBT-based programme for dealing with menopausal symptoms, Myra Hunter and Melanie Smith have developed a pioneering group treatment for women going through the menopause. Managing Hot Flushes with Group Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is an evidence-based manual drawing on their research which has demonstrated, in randomised controlled trials, that group CBT effectively reduces the impact of hot flushes and night sweats. The treatment is effective for women going through a natural menopause and for women who have menopausal symptoms following breast cancer treatments and for other groups of women who have troublesome symptoms. This manual provides health professionals with everything they need to run groups to help women to manage hot flushes and night sweats. Managing Hot Flushes with Group Cognitive Behaviour Therapy equips health professionals with knowledge, skills and materials to run groups to help women to manage menopausal symptoms in 6 (or 4) weekly sessions without the need for medication. It is easy to use with a companion audio exercise and downloadable/photocopiable resources on line, as well as power-point slides, homework sheets and diaries. Following Group CBT women have the information, practical skills and strategies to help them to cope with hot flushes and night sweats, and also report improvements in sleep and quality of life. This manual will be an essential resource for nurses, psychologists, counsellors, psychological wellbeing practitioners and cognitive behaviour therapists working in health care and voluntary settings.

The model provides a framework that can be used to understand the ways in
which psychological treatments might work; these are used in the Group CBT and
are outlined in Table 1.1. We have tested this model in a recent study of 140 ...

The Biography of Imam Master Sayyed Ahmad Al-Rifai Establisher of the Rifai Sufi Path [(512 AH)(1118 AD)]-[(578 AH)(1182 AD)]

?Sayyed Ahmad Al-Rifai is among the best of the divinely devoted scholars, and the great masters (sheikhs) in the Muslim nation (ummah), the nation of Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him. He is among those pure and believing souls, for which Allah has written the general acceptance and complete approach, and whose reputation exceeded its age and region unto the farthest temporal and spatial and distances. It might be that no other sheikh or educating master after Abdul-Qadir Al-Gilani has acquired this great admiration, and widespread acceptance, which master Al-Rifai has acquired. His path is still alive, and is placed in the Arab countries as the Jashtiya path is placed here in the Indian subcontinent, and its neighboring country?.
